Coral Graciella Necklace
Handmade in Bolivia by our partner working with a small group of artists to foster their time-honored craftsmanship and provides artisans with access to quality healthcare, education, business training, and community building.
Handmade using repurposed acai and bombana seeds, a natural material indigenous to the South American Rainforests. The dried out seed is dyed using a low-impact dye, hand washed, and laid in the sun to seal the vibrant color. With every item purchased with us, a tree is planted in partnership with the National Forest Foundation.
The diversity of the country and its people, as well as the colourfulness of everyday life in Bolivia makes for great pieces of artwork.
Bolivia is home to a unique style of art and architecture known as Mestizo Baroque, created when the traditional religious art brought by the Spaniards was combined with the styles of the indigenous Bolivian people.
